Sodium carbonate (washing soda) 400 g
Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) 200 g
SLS powder 150 g
Sodium metasilicate 100 g
STPP 80 g
CMC 20 g
Fine salt 40 g
Lemon fragrance 5–10 ml
Powder colour A tiny amount
Method
Sieve all the dry powders separately to remove lumps.
Mix the washing soda, baking soda, sodium metasilicate and STPP thoroughly.
Add SLS powder gradually and mix gently.
Add CMC and salt, then mix until completely uniform.
Add a tiny amount of powder colour if desired.
Add the fragrance very gradually, mixing continuously.
Sieve the finished detergent again and package in a completely dry container.
